I Failed

This fall I failed. I failed to take care of my body, my mind and struggled finding happiness many days. Not the ‘on the surface’ kind of happy cause I usually find that but the truest, purest happiness that leaves you feeling content and joyful from your head to your toes. I allowed situations to weigh me down taking a lot out of me and wasn’t going to Him when I was weary.

This past week was spent trying to change that. Getting away from the “noise” of day to day living helped focus on what is most important…. and you’re looking at them. Doesn’t get any better than this! We played games, we took naps, we swam, we cuddled, we read, we told jokes, we smiled, we laughed, I dumped my kids off jet skis and I laughed some more. These smiles are as genuine as they get. Wonderful memories were made around the table that night. These boys are my world and it was wonderful to just “be” with them and my mom.

These are the kind of smiles we should have every day cause each time we wake up we’re given another opportunity to be awesome!

Take care of you. Love what you do. Find the fun in each day too. Cause none of us know when it will be our last. What I do know is the last few have been a blast!

Good night! Sweet dreams! And don’t forget to wake up tomorrow and be awesome!
