Mexico- Part 3: DIY Projects- Pallets and Pipes

While in Mexico last month, there was so much eye candy.  I loved all the vibrant colors, mixing materials, variety of textures and style everywhere I went.  Everything had character.  No cookie cutter designs for homes or businesses.  As we ventured through Playa del Carmen, a few things jumped out at me as being great DIY projects for those more skilled than I.  Here’s a few pics I took.  Please let me know if you get inspiration from these.  I’d love to see pics of what you create.

  1. Love all of this! I recently had Bill make me ‘pipe’ end tables with reclaimed wood tops. *fabulous*. We are doing some pipe shelving soon too. I love that people are starting to recycle & reuse. Adds character for sure!

    1. Cool! You and Bill sure make a perfect team. I love seeing how you’ve been transforming your house, one project at a time!
