I want to hear about someone who could use a little encouragement. Send me a message (with Spreading Sunshine as the title) with a few quick details about someone that could use a little encouragement and why by Wednesday evening. Each month, I will pick one (or more) and spread a little sunshine to them whether it’s a handwritten note of encouragement/well wishes, a book, gas card, or maybe I’ll deliver a home cooked meal to a local family.
Remember, I’m just a single mom, so I won’t be giving away a new car. Come on…. I’m no Oprah. She gives away cars. Not me. But the most meaningful thoughts/actions that have been shown to me were free or inexpensive. So thankfully, we don’t have to be Oprah to give, share, and care.
Some days, all we need to help get through a rough day or season, is knowing that someone is thinking of us. Someone cares for us. Someone is praying for us. Someone loves us.
So comment below that you emailed me (heather@sweetlemonadelife.com) so I know to look for your message. I don’t want any getting lost in the shuffle. Then if I choose to spread sunshine to the person/family you shared about, I’ll contact you to get details for the person so we can be a bright spot to their day.

As a receiver of a little sunshine tonight, it brought me to tears, tears of love and joy. You hear about things like this and you think awwww that is great! But to actually live it…….. takes your breath away, REALLY !!! Beyond words!!!!! To actually see and live God’s Grace and Love is so indescribable. Remember you are never alone!!! I know that my difficult journey will end with God’s Grace and I to will carry on the sunshine and help people. That keeps me going, but acts of Love and Kindness…. Makes the ride worth riding! As I have said, even before I knew of your Blogg, God making Lemonade out of my Lemons! So from the deepest part of my soul, Thank you.

God blesses us all through actions of others. You feel blessed to receive but I feel just as blessed to give. You will continue to be in my prayers Zoe!
